Creation Journey
The Solstice ring was conceived during the winter solstice, when the contrast between light and dark is most profound. This duality inspired a revolutionary faceting approach that creates visible zones of brilliance and subtle shadow.
Conceptual Design
Unlike traditional diamond cutting that seeks uniform brilliance, the Solstice intentionally varies its light return across the ring's surface. This creates a dynamic visual effect that changes dramatically as the ring moves.
Technical Innovation
Achieving this effect required developing new facet angles never before used in diamond ring design. The 60 facets are arranged in a gradient pattern, each calculated using proprietary optical modeling software.
Symbolic Meaning
