Refund & Returns

Important Notice
Due to the bespoke nature and exceptional value of single-crystal diamond rings, our return policy differs from standard retail jewelry. Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase.
1. General Policy
Single-crystal diamond rings are unique, high-value items that cannot be resized or easily resold. As such, all sales are generally considered final. However, we stand behind the quality and authenticity of every piece we create.
2. Collection Pieces
For rings purchased from our existing collection:
Eligible for Return/Exchange
- Product does not match its certification or description
- Manufacturing defects discovered upon delivery
- Damage that occurred during shipping (must be reported within 24 hours)
Not Eligible for Return
- Change of mind after purchase
- Incorrect sizing (proper sizing is customer's responsibility)
- Damage caused by customer after delivery
- Normal characteristics of diamond (minor variations in clarity, color visible only under magnification)
3. Bespoke Commissions
Custom-made rings are created specifically to your specifications:
- Non-Refundable: All deposits and payments for bespoke orders are non-refundable once production begins
- Quality Guarantee: If the finished ring does not meet the agreed specifications or has manufacturing defects, we will remake it at no additional cost
- Approval Process: You will have the opportunity to approve design specifications before production begins
4. Return Process
If you believe your purchase qualifies for a return:
- Contact Us: Email hello@singlecrystaldiamondring.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number and detailed description of the issue
- Provide Documentation: Include clear photographs showing the issue
- Await Authorization: Our team will review your request within 2 business days
- Return Shipping: If approved, we will provide prepaid, insured return shipping
- Inspection: Upon receipt, we will inspect the ring and verify the issue
- Resolution: We will process your refund, exchange, or repair within 5 business days of inspection
5. Return Conditions
For a return to be accepted, the ring must:
- Be in its original, unworn condition
- Include all original packaging and documentation
- Include the original certification
- Be free from damage, scratches, or alterations
- Be returned within the specified timeframe
6. Refund Methods
Approved refunds will be processed as follows:
- Original Payment Method: Refunds are returned to the original payment method when possible
- Processing Time: Please allow 5-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account
- Wire Transfers: For wire transfer refunds, you may be responsible for bank fees
7. Exchanges
In cases where an exchange is approved, you may select another ring from our collection. If the replacement ring is of higher value, you will be responsible for the difference. If of lower value, we will refund the difference.
8. Defects & Warranty
We warrant that our rings are free from manufacturing defects:
- Manufacturing Defects: Covered for the lifetime of the ring
- What's Covered: Structural defects, issues with polish or symmetry not disclosed at time of sale
- What's Not Covered: Chips or damage from impact (diamond can chip if struck at certain angles), normal wear, damage from misuse
9. Certification Discrepancy
If you believe there is a discrepancy between your ring and its certification, we will arrange for independent verification at our expense. If the certification is found to be inaccurate, we will offer a full refund or replacement.
10. Exceptions
We reserve the right to make exceptions to this policy on a case-by-case basis. Any exceptions will be documented in writing and must be approved by our management team.
